Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Gangotri are three prominent pilgrimage sites in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, collectively known as the Char Dham Yatra. This sacred journey holds immense spiritual significance for Hindus, attracting thousands of pilgrims each year. Kedarnath is home to the famous Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst the majestic Himalayas, the temple is believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and holds great mythological importance. Badrinath, located in the Chamoli district, houses the Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams (holy abodes of Vishnu) and is considered a crucial pilgrimage site for Hindus. Gangotri, the source of the river Ganges, is revered as a sacred place where Goddess Ganga descended to Earth. The Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, is a major attraction for pilgrims and tourists alike.
After breakfast check out from the Haridwar hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, witness aarti at Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Hrshil and local sightseeing in hrshil and drive to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in the hotel, in evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Vishwnath at Guptkashi. After temple darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, Move to Kedarnath by Helicopter. after darshan, return to Guptkashi, by helicopter. Stay overnight at the hotel.
The morning after breakfast, move to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is important for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Stay overnight at Badrinath.
Morning after breakfast, moving for Srinagar.Srinagar Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 35-40 degree Celsius, winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp average from 20 deg to 05 deg.
After morning breakfast, moving for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Stay overnight at Haridwar.
